DEATH VALLEY
Death Valley is a Texas-based company that specializes in producing vegan, cruelty-free, and non-toxic beauty products. They’re passionate about high quality and sustainability - and it shows. Their new and expanded product line was recently rebranded by Studio Bookmark to better fit their brand’s visual language, inspired by the desert landscape. Our team was thrilled to partner with their teams to produce this stunning eco-friendly packaging suite. Read more below on how it was done.

PAPER
This Death Valley packaging lineup was produced using Neenah Paper’s Natural White Folding Board, which contains a minimum of 30% post-consumer recycled materials and is FSC-certified.
METHODS USED
All of the boxes were printed using 1-3 hand-mixed letterpress inks to match the brand’s PMS colors. Advanced print methods like solid floods, overprinting (two transparent inks overlapping to create a ‘third’ color) and complex halftone gradients elevate traditional letterpress. The candle box was the most decorated with a bonus pass of matte gold foil we love.

Death Valley Packaging Suite
The new Death Valley Suite was an extensive collection of custom-built structures. Our structural design team sized each box to the beautifully curated vessels Death Valley sourced. Custom diecut windows, internal platforms, and locking tucks were expertly applied to elevate their new lineup.
